Once every ten years...
The Oberammergau Passion Play begins next month and lasts through the beginning of October.
The play dates back to the 17th Century, when the people of Oberammergau vowed to celebrate the suffering, death, and resurrection of our Lord every ten years if their village would be spared from the plague that was ravaging the area. They were, and they did.
This year will be only the 42nd time the Passion Play has been performed.
When initially announced way back in 2018, for a 2020 performance, I sold out several pilgrimage groups.
Then 2020 happened and the play was moved to 2022.
Some people cancelled and those spaces were quickly filled.
As we get closer to departure, I’ve had a few more openings. If this sounds like something you’d like to attend, I have the following opportunities:
Vienna, Salzburg and Oberammergau — I have 3 spots available for May.
Oberammergau, Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, Krakow, and Warsaw — I have 2 spots available for June.
Lourdes to Fatima, with Oberammergau — I just announced this one for July.
If you can’t make it this time, the next play should be offered again in 2030.
Let me know if you have any questions!

This trip sounds so tempting! If we went on every pilgrimage with you that we want to, Mountain, we’d be broke and never at home. So looking forward to Easter in Rome with you next year!!
Waiting for information on our planned September trip!!!
