Pilgrimage marathon update and some new trips
The pilgrimage marathon is officially over.
You may recall that I was scheduled to have eight back to back trips with no breaks. I began on August 20th in Lithuania, then Poland, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. I was supposed to go directly from Budapest to Tel Aviv, but the war put an end to that.
Now I’ve spent the last several days at home resting.
I still have two more Rome pilgrimages as part of this marathon, but now that I’ve had a break, and a chance to do some laundry, those should be a bit more relaxing.
Speaking of Rome…
I just had a cancellation on my Rome, Just Rome: Thanksgiving Edition. I assume most of you already have Thanksgiving plans, but if not, this is the trip where we open the Sistine Chapel. Just us, all alone in the Vatican Museums, hours before they open to the public. We also have a food tour with Sophie Minchilli and some special tours with Agnes Crawford. You also don’t have to worry about cooking and cleaning for Thanksgiving, because I’ll take care of all that. Here’s the link:

If Thanksgiving doesn’t work, someone on the Advent Edition contacted me today and may need to cancel. It’s not official yet, but you can get on the waitlist here:

Now, on to new things…
Today I am opening two pilgrimages for 2024. As always paid Substack readers get the first shot at signing up.
I doubt these two pilgrimages will sell out as quickly, but as a reminder, my April 2024 Holy Land pilgrimage sold out in 19 minutes and my November 2024 Holy Land Pilgrimage sold out in 5 minutes.
Fatima to Lourdes
June 10th – 20th, 2024
I usually do Fatima to Lourdes once a year in May/June. We begin in Lisbon, we’ll spend a few nights in Fatima, several nights in and around Salamanca, continue to Burgos, ending in Lourdes. We stay in some really, really nice places and have some amazing meals. Of course, daily Mass, and visiting saints, apparition spots, and a Eucharistic Miracle.
Lithuania and Poland
August 12th – 24th, 2024
This was my first year doing Lithuania and Poland, and August really seems like the ideal time to visit. Some changes to my last pilgrimage… We are adding a night in Vilnius, Lithuania, everyone in the group was blown away by that lovely city! And we are adding extra time in Krakow without adding extra activities. The meals are incredible. The hotels are luxurious. And following in the footsteps of Saints Maximilian Kolbe, Faustina, and John Paul II makes this one of my favorite itineraries.

Have a great week and pray for the Middle East.
