This is the Trevi Fountain crowd today, mid-June, with Italy open to American tourists. My last pilgrimage group departed Rome on February 16, 2020. That group was one of the last US pilgrimage groups in Rome, because after that week, there were tons of cancellations.
I would love to thank you for your Posts during this Global.Pandemic.
I have visited Rome and Italy 4 times and left my Heart there in my younger days.
You have been so giving and it has been wonderful to follow.
Living in Australia I appreciate I may not see Rome again BUT the Vatican, the Italy I love remains with me always. My last visit was 2017 and I had tickets to a Papal Audience. It was magical to see The Holy Father drive around and so close. He stopped and blessed all.
I wish you well and pray Rome and the world itself, will slowly return to a sense of normality!
Take care, stay well and safe AND again heartfelt thanks. š
One of the few really bright spots of the closures was that I found you on Instagram & Facebook. I learned so much, especially when you were doing the Lenten Station churches. Several family members & friends started following you, too. Looking forward to watching Tipsy Tuesday with your group, & other posts from your 1st post-pandemic pilgrimage. And Iām really excited about the October pilgrimage!
Thanks for your advice on the Scavi Tour we got right in!
